得卡倫步道位於花蓮縣太魯閣國家公園內，坐落於太魯閣台地北段，緊鄰西側大型車停車場，以昔日太魯閣族得卡倫部落命名。這條步道以其陡峭的坡度聞名，屬於健行型步道，適合喜愛挑戰的登山愛好者。步道全程規畫完善，沿途穿越低海拔闊葉林，綠意盎然，林蔭蔽日，空氣清新宜人。沿線設有數座觀景平台、休憩木椅與解說牌，方便健行者駐足欣賞風景。從步道高點可遠眺長春祠步道的鐘樓、雄偉的錐麓斷崖、太魯閣遊客中心、錦文橋，以及立霧溪奔流入海的壯闊景致。若天氣晴朗，還能眺望遠方的富世村，山海交融的美景令人心曠神怡。步道終點與大禮大同步道相連，健行者可選擇延伸行程，探訪隱世的大禮與大同部落，或挑戰小百岳立霧山，甚至串聯砂卡礑步道，完成約15公里的O形路線，惟需申請入山證並具備良好體力。得卡倫步道不僅是健行的絕佳選擇，更是深入體驗太魯閣自然與人文之美的起點。

瓦拉米步道位於花蓮縣卓溪鄉，隸屬玉山國家公園，是八通關越嶺道東段的一部分，全長約14公里。這條步道沿拉庫拉庫溪谷蜿蜒而上，坡度平緩、視野開闊，擁有從亞熱帶到寒帶的完整生態系，孕育豐富的動植物資源。步道分為前段（步道口至山風瀑布）、中段（山風瀑布至佳心）及後段（佳心至瓦拉米山屋），前中段適合親子與一般健行者，後段則需申請入山入園許可，適合有中級登山或負重露營經驗者。沿途經過五座吊橋及多處日治時期駐在所遺址，如山風二號橋的日式水泥石墩與佳心營地的氣象站、露營平台等，展望極佳，可遠眺玉里山與拉庫拉庫溪谷。步道終點的瓦拉米山屋提供太陽能設施與鋁製通舖，適合過夜。建議規劃二日行程，順遊南安瀑布或安通溫泉，體驗花東縱谷的自然與人文之美。
